Inc., ('Northwind') develops and operates a variety of web sites and
survey sites affiliated with clients of Northwind. (the 'Sites').
Northwind’s Privacy Policy demonstrates its commitment to privacy.
The following discloses Northwind's information gathering and
dissemination practices for the Sites.
Northwind agrees to
respect and observe the provisions set forth in Personal
Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (the 'Act')
and any other relevant legislation. To the extent there is
additional protection afforded to you pursuant to the Act, and
same is not set forth herein, Northwind agrees to take such measures
to give full effect to such additional protection.
Northwind
respects the privacy of each individual with which it comes into
contact as a survey participant. Northwind will not give, rent or
sell any information about any participant of the Sites to any
organization or individual without the individuals prior consent.
Northwind will not collect any personally identifiable
information about you, e.g. your name, address, telephone number
or e-mail address, unless you provide it to us.
If you do
not want your personal information collected, do not provide it to
us. If you have already submitted the information and would like
us to remove it from our records, or if you would like to know
what information is held in our records, see the Contact section
below.
Our online surveys may ask participants for such
information as contact information (e.g. name, telephone number
and e-mail address), financial information (e.g. income level),
and demographic information (e.g. postal code or age). All
financial and demographic questions are optional. The customer's
contact information may also be used to contact the participant
when necessary. Only Northwind has access to your personal
information.
Additionally, we may administer contests on
our Sites in which we may ask participants for similar contact,
and qualifying information as referenced in the previous
paragraph. Again, the customer's contact information is used to
contact the participant only when necessary and only Northwind has
access to your personal information.
The
Sites may contain links to third party sites. Northwind or any of
its affiliates is not responsible for the privacy practices or the
content of such Web sites. Northwind co-branded sites and content
partner sites may have privacy policies independent of Northwind.
This Privacy Policy extends only to data collected on pages hosted
on the Northwind servers. Northwind may share aggregate information
with co-branded sites however this aggregated information does not
contain personally identifiable information.
We use your
IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, and to
administer the Sites. Your IP address is also used to gather broad
demographic information. Our Sites may use cookies to make sure
you don't access the same survey repeatedly.
Security
The Sites have every reasonable security measure in place
to protect against the loss, misuse and interception of
information by third parties. Northwind assumes no liability for
interception, alteration or misuse of information transmitted over
the Internet.
Public Forums
The Site may make
chat rooms, forums, message boards and/or other public discussion
areas available to its users. Please remember that any information
that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information and
you should exercise caution when deciding to disclose your
personal information.
